We met Samantha while she was busy wrapping up med school and George was completing grad school at Rollins. They met at UF during undergrad through their Greek organizations. They had been together for several years and already started a life, including having an adorable doggie, but were ready to take the next step in glamorous fashion.
George had grown up in Winter Park, so many of the events all took place in area. The Alfond Inn was used for rehearsal dinner, getting ready, and post wedding brunch. The Catholic ceremony was held at Knowles Chapel at Rollins and the reception is at Interlachen Country Club. Samantha wanted soft, romantic aesthetic to the black tie event. So we incorporated a beautiful combination of softer colors like blush, light pink, and champagne.
This particular wedding introduced us to a lot of new vendors in the area. Rebecca Read Photography is incredible and all the photos between George and Samantha are electric. Velvet and Twine has been on our radar for a while but we never had a chance to work with them until this event and we absolutely love what they created. We also work with Creative Cinema for the first time. They did a wonderful job with the trailer. We can’t wait to see when it is completed.
We have so many congratulations to give to this couple: Marriage, MBA, MD, and of course, Mr. and Mrs. Congrats George and Samantha!

My life as an Orlando and Central Florida wedding planner has taught me many things: I know hurricane clauses in contracts like the back of my hand. One sip can tell me if a certain wine is too bold or just right for a large guest list. And… I’ve seen how self-care is of utmost […]

You may not associate money-saving with luxury, but we just happen to think there are secrets to having them go hand-in-hand. Sure, you may have heard that to save money you should reduce your guest count or opt for a Friday or Sunday wedding, but what about when you are set on your list and […]
“I cannot choose the best part of my wedding day. Every time I thought it was the best part, something else came along! I think what I will remember most is the joy that my guests and I felt over this truly magical day we had. Everything was perfect.” – Chelsey Working with Chelsey and […]
They’re attached to their phone – and in particular, social media. It’s no wonder in this new era of the internet at our fingertips. They can see who is doing what, where, and with whom. And it all looks…perfect. So it’s not a surprise that if they have a birthday coming up, they secretly (or […]
Planning a wedding or event is exciting – there’s picking out flowers, tasting cakes, trying on dresses and tuxes, selecting rings, planning a honeymoon… but when it comes to the nitty gritty of contracts with venues and vendors, all of that fun can come to a screeching halt – especially when there is a large […]
