“I cannot choose the best part of my wedding day. Every time I thought it was the best part, something else came along! I think what I will remember most is the joy that my guests and I felt over this truly magical day we had. Everything was perfect.” – Chelsey
Working with Chelsey and Josh on their March 16, 2019 at Isleworth Country Club was nothing short of spectacular. With such a sweet love for each other and the adoration for their dogs, it was romance at its finest.
Chelsey and Josh picked a delicate color scheme of light blue and white with accents of greenery and copper – perfect for such a beautiful time of year. The ceremony had a geometric shape concept with lush floral pieces which was incorporated throughout the rest of the wedding day in such areas as the wedding cake and reception table decor.
Inside the reception stood a variety of square and round tables with one magnificent head table in the middle of the room with a jaw-dropping centerpiece!
One of the most delightful things about working with Chelsey and Josh was the unique elements they selected. First, their wedding cake was actually a wedding cheesecake! Neither of them are fans of regular cake so this twist on the traditional was not only a highlight for them, but also a fabulous surprise for their guests.
In addition, their dogs took center stage in creative ways that were sweet and memorable. First, their signature drinks were named after each dog and second, they were included in the frame for the photo booth. And as a little surprise, the florist included the dogs on the projection mapping on the wall of the reception room!

“I did the something old, new, borrowed, and blue tradition which ended up being very sentimental for me.
I had blue shoes, my new dress, and my borrowed pin from my grandmother. My mom also gave me my great-grandmothers handkerchief and wedding rings as the something old for me to be able to pass on to my future children. I pinned the rings and handkerchief to my bouquet so I could have her close to me on my special day.” – Chelsey
“I cannot imagine my wedding without Michele. From day one of our wedding planning, she was by our side. She shopped with me, attended vendor appointments, and had meetings throughout our planning to ease any anxieties I had. Michele helped out with my bridal shower, the rehearsal dinner, AND the wedding! Every event appeared effortless thanks to the time and commitment she made to our special day.” – Chelsey
“Looking back, I wish I would have opted to join guests at cocktail hour. I wouldn’t have worried about going to all of the tables and talking to everyone at the reception because I could have done it at the cocktail hour.” – Chelsey
“The best decision I made for the wedding was having a dress change. I was so against it in the beginning because of the extra expense. As soon as we got to the reception, I wanted to change my dress and shoes. The day can be so long, it’s important to remember the good things and not being uncomfortable. I’m so happy I changed. Now I remember the relief I felt when I was in my dancing dress and shoes and I enjoyed the rest of the evening!” – Chelsey
Advice for brides…
“Get a wedding planner! No really. I’m not sure I could have planned my wedding without Michele! Besides that, it is your wedding. Josh’s advice was YOGMO. You only get married once. Do it for yourselves. Say yes to the cheesecake and the second dress. Make it your dream wedding!” – Chelsey
