The thing about trends? They come and go.
The thing about THESE color trends? They’ll be timeless.
Selecting a color scheme is not easy. There are not only actual colors to choose, but then there are shades of that color, the tones associated with it and ones that complement it. It can be a bit overwhelming as you plan your Orlando wedding, but we are here to help!
We find these color trends stylish, chic, and enduring years from now. If you’re planning your Central Florida wedding, you may want to consider one of these 3 schemes or a variation of one of them to design your dream day.
Greenery
Natural greenery elements paired with touches of white and green details create a exquisite look and authentic feel. The lush feel of the floral complemented by fashionable details can be the perfect look for those desiring a timeless, yet in-style wedding.
We especially adore this bride’s dark emerald shoes that add an extra pop of color to her look.
Metallics
Nothing has the allure that metallics do when it comes to making your wedding stand out. Pairing different tones of metallics brings a radiance to your decor and we especially love it paired with natural elements such as wood, rocks, and bamboo for elegant balance.
Sweet and sophisticated, this color scheme is truly classic. With so many shades of each to select from, your color palette can vary and yet still go together perfectly. For design ease, try navy and light blue paired with many shades of blush and cream. The wide variety of shades will complement while not being overly matching.
Blues and navys are a big trend in tuxedos and suits especially, and we love the variety of options and styles you can rent at The Black Tux.

My life as an Orlando and Central Florida wedding planner has taught me many things: I know hurricane clauses in contracts like the back of my hand. One sip can tell me if a certain wine is too bold or just right for a large guest list. And… I’ve seen how self-care is of utmost […]
Whether or not you’ve been in a wedding, you’re likely familiar with the idea of giving gifts to your groomsmen. These men are the most important in your life: brothers, best friends… those you came up with or met later in life. It’s only fitting you give them the perfect gift. Worried a destination wedding […]
You may not associate money-saving with luxury, but we just happen to think there are secrets to having them go hand-in-hand. Sure, you may have heard that to save money you should reduce your guest count or opt for a Friday or Sunday wedding, but what about when you are set on your list and […]
“I cannot choose the best part of my wedding day. Every time I thought it was the best part, something else came along! I think what I will remember most is the joy that my guests and I felt over this truly magical day we had. Everything was perfect.” – Chelsey Working with Chelsey and […]
They’re attached to their phone – and in particular, social media. It’s no wonder in this new era of the internet at our fingertips. They can see who is doing what, where, and with whom. And it all looks…perfect. So it’s not a surprise that if they have a birthday coming up, they secretly (or […]
Planning a wedding or event is exciting – there’s picking out flowers, tasting cakes, trying on dresses and tuxes, selecting rings, planning a honeymoon… but when it comes to the nitty gritty of contracts with venues and vendors, all of that fun can come to a screeching halt – especially when there is a large […]
