Laura’s mother contacted us with just a short time to pull together a luxury, tent wedding at the gorgeous Lake Nona Country Club. And this was not just a wedding that joined together two families, but two cultures as well. The groom, Dylan is Filipino and elements of his heritage were used throughout the ceremony. He and his groomsmen wore the barong, a traditional formal shirt made with pineapple fibers that resemble organza with ornate embroidery. Laura’s Italian heritage was represented in the rehearsal dinner location of Buca di Beppo and in the special Italian wedding cookies served at the reception. Inspired by the beautiful marine blue bridesmaid gowns and the clean white and gold architecture of the venue, Michele Butler Events had a hand in the creative look of the event from start to finish—From the creative deck, to programs, table numbers and menus. This was a heartfelt wedding bringing two families and cultures together and we wish Laura & Dylan all of the happiness for their wonderful life together.
