Christy and Brandon are just one of those memorable couples we still keep in touch with. They were so sweet, funny, and had a certain quirkiness we just love! Their gorgeous red and black vintage theme was so cohesively pulled together—from the bride’s birdcage veil, to the the bridesmaids’ red with white polka dotted heels, to the adorable bouquets of red roses, carnations, and baby’s breath by Lee Forrest. Lee hung beautiful iron lanterns from the majestic trees at Dubsdread. Brandon took the lead for creative vision using his background as a graphic designer. He designed everything from invitations to programs to place cards.

Bride Christy was a musician and all of her music selections for their ceremony had special meaning. Officiant, Maria Roncari, gave an incredibly touching, heartfelt, and personal ceremony that revealed Christy and Brandon’s love story. One of the most unique parts was the love letter-wine box ceremony. There was not a dry eye in the house.

There was also another underlying theme, that was very subtle—the Florida Gators. The couple met at UF, their engagement session was at Gainesville, their favors were Gator mints concealed in beautiful red boxes, and the wedding was on the night of the Vanderbilt v. UF away game. We couldn’t blame any one for sneaking away to watch the game in Dubsdread board room, especially when most of the culprits were part of the wedding party. Though it was a rough start, the Gators won, which was just the icing on the cake!

We felt so honored that we were not only thanked in person and via email, but the couple also put us in their program. It really meant a lot. They also sent us Christmas cards with their beautiful pictures! Congrats again, Christy and Brandon!

Throughout the process she made sure we hired the best vendors all the while getting us deals we simply could not have gotten without her.

From the bride and Groom:

Michele and her team made the whole process easy with her approachable attitude and honesty with us when it came to reality checks like the budget. We chose Michele for her kind nature and familiar aura. She felt like an old friend from the moment we met. Throughout the process she made sure we hired the best vendors all the while getting us deals we simply could not have gotten without her. When the day came, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We hired a planner with the day-of in mind. We wanted to be able to relax and enjoy our wedding, and Michele’s team made that a reality. The details really made the wedding, and we have so many favorites. Michele’s suggestion of a King’s Table perfectly fit our vision of being surrounded by our family and friends. The coffee bar after dinner had all the pieces of our first date at Starbucks for our guests to recreate, and the memories we created with our amazing officient that Michele found and the wine box ceremony Maria proposed will list a lifetime. To Kara, Cathrina, and of course Michele, thank you for not only planning but making our wedding a wonderful experience we only wish we could duplicate again.
