This wedding came full circle for us. We met Cara at the Farmers Market during the Winter Park Bridal Stroll last year. The ceremony was held at the picturesque Polasek Sculpture Garden in Winter Park. The day before was cold and blustery, but the sun came out and heavy coats were no longer required! While Cara and Danny said their vows, the Farmers Market was tranformed into a wintery wonderland and was inspired by where the couple got engaged, Jackson Hole, WY. What was really special were the photos of the proposal were on display to help guests get an idea of where the inspiration came from. Fresh Christmas trees, handmade and collected decor accented Lee Forrest’s beautiful arrangements. In addition to the crisp, snowy whites, pops of teal and rich browns and tans added to the rustic charm of the Winter Park Farmers Market. There was so much love and appreciation at the event and we are really sad our planning had come to an end. We are so happy for Cara and Danny. Congratulations, you two!

My wedding day would not have been as magical without your staff! I was able to be completely immersed in the love and magic of the day.

From the bride:

We could not have done all of this without you, Cathrina and her staff the day of the wedding! What a wonderful day it was!  I cant believe it came and went so fast! Everyone really enjoyed themselves!

There are many parts of the wedding that I loved! Some of the details are more broad than others so I will list a few:

  1. I loved that Cathrina brought Danny and I drinks out back of the farmers market in the mason jars. It was a little private celebration   for Danny and I before seeing everyone.
  2. I loved that we were able to walk through the reception before the party to see the beauty of the room.
  3. I loved the camel colored napkins on the white table cloth with the mocha brown and teal gift boxes.
  4. I really appreciated the team making sure that Danny and I had food and cupcakes to go back to the hotel with.

My favorite part of planning: The very beginning when we started creating the magic and day, and the final meeting when I realized that everything would be taken care of and I could enjoy my wedding day.

Cathrina made sure the “magic” was going to happen by working closely with us.

From the mother of the bride:

i have been thinking about this and it’s not easy picking out a favorite detail from the wedding.  There are so many special details, the absolute stunning beauty of my daughter beaming with happiness; the wonderful atmosphere of love and joy as two very special people joined in marriage; the magic that came alive with the creation of our “Winter Wonderland” for Cara and Danny, celebrating their engagement in Jackson Hole, Wy.

That being said, I want to recognize what an outstanding job Cathrina and her staff did the day of the wedding and all the preparation preceding that day.  Cathrina made sure the “magic” was going to happen by working closely with us.  Since I provided extra additions to the table settings Lee Forrest were doing, she made sure that everything was set up the way I wanted them. That included decorating 7 trees I had brought in to be part of the Winter wonderland.  Lee Forrest and their crew were spread thin that day with other weddings, so after they set the trees up Cathrina and her crew spent time stringing lights, decorating with ornaments, and spraying with snow.  They looked FANTASTIC and everyone enjoyed them.  They stayed long after they were supposed to setting up the cups of snow we had to throw at the couple on their departure, and then helping to clean up, strip the trees, collect all the decorations that we had brought so they wouldn’t get mixed up with Lee’s stuff.  I can’t say enough wonder things about Cathrina.  So please give her a pat on the back for this one.  She deserves it.

Having you and Cathrina helping with this wedding was the best decision we made.  We couldn’t have done it without your help. I was able to really enjoy the day and not worry that things were going to be right because I had faith in Cathrina.

Oh, and my favorite part of the planning process?  Seeing my daughter in the dress she decided “was the one”.  It’s a special moment indeed.
